Here are my top 5 food finds from the Minnesota State Fair 2021! Save this for your trip to the fair in 2022!
With countless options of food stalls, there is no shortage of tasty bites at the USA’s second largest state fair. Over 2 million people roam the 322-acre State Fairgrounds during this iconic annual event. Be part of a 12-day economic revolution that brings in over $268 million for Twin Cities and the midwest at large (SOURCE).
Cheese Curds
Divided into four flavors (original, cajun, ranch and garlic), I wish I could eat these for every meal of every day! Fried cheese? What could be bad?
Red Velvet Funnel Cake
This was amazing and I could have effortlessly eaten this whole funnel cake by myself. Funnel cake is one thing, but red velvet brings it to an entirely new level!
SWEET MARTHA'S COOKIE JAR
Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar is the reason I give the Minnesota State Fair any of my attention in the first place. Fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies served straight from the baking sheet in a cone or a bucket. Who can pass that up!?
Martha is my idol. She rakes in millions of dollars from the Minnesota State Fair alone. It is mind-blowing to me!
TOM THUMB DONUTS
Mini cinnamon donuts served warm. They were delicious! These tiny donuts were the perfect fair fuel.
Fried Twinkies
A state fair classic and it was actually really good! Definitely would stop at this stand next year.
