I am gutted because in-person cookie exchanges just aren’t in the cards for me (and hopefully you, too!) this year. However, we are NOT going to let a pandemic ruin the baking fun, right!? Here are some cookies to gift any friend!

For the most basic friend...
Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies!
There is a fine line between fixing something that is not broken and stepping up your cookie game with brown butter! As you probably read in my quarantine baking checklist, I am obsessed with brown butter chocolate chip cookies.
I have been using this recipe from Sugar Spun Run. These cookies are absolutely worth baking!

S’mores Cookies!
This is similar to the brown butter chocolate chip cookies in the sense that we’re kind of fixing something that isn’t broken here. Use a recipe for thick chocolate chip cookies then scoop some fluff into the middle of the cookie, seal the cookie into a dough ball, then bake it!
There are other fun s’mores cookie recipes I can link here even though I have not tried them…
For the friend who drinks pumpkin spice lattes all year long...
Snickerdoodles!
I have recently become obsessed with Snickerdoodle cookies because cinnamon is so underrated! These cookies from Crazy for Crust are cakey and perfect!
For the friend who still believes Santa Claus is real...
Unicorn Cookies!
I am not going to lie, I had pretty low expectations for these cookies. I made the false assumption that because these cookies were aesthetically pleasing, they would not taste very good. I AM SO GLAD I WAS WRONG.
I used Yummallo Unicorn Mix and followed the recipe on the bag. They were easy to make and tasted amazing!
