Hi! My name is Allie. I am a bottomless pit, skyline fanatic, and “hype” girl based in Chicago, Illinois. First and foremost, I love my family and friends, and I have the cutest dogs in the world. And now, without further ado, some further validation as to why you should stick around for a while.
THE PEOPLE I MEET…
As a self-proclaimed “Professional Chatterbox,” I talk to (read: gab with) everyone and love remaining connected to others. I have met the most amazing bloggers and business owners as a result of my city adventures, and I do not anticipate those festivities ending any time soon. Most importantly, I am pursuing a passion with a collaboration over competition mindset.
AND THE FOOD I EAT…
Like I said, I love trying new restaurants. It is not uncommon for me to be the “go-to” among my friends for restaurant recommendations in the city. Furthermore, it probably goes without saying that I am usually the person who chooses where my friends and I dine out, too! I wouldn’t say I have a sweet tooth, but a mouth full of sweet teeth. Whoever said brunch is the most important meal of the day has never had dessert! No matter what I am eating, I am undoubtedly eligible for presidency of the Clean Plate Club, and I only share my food with my Instagram. That lucky app always gets first dibs at my food!
…IN A CITY THAT’S PRETTY NEAT!
Although I love spending time on my couch, I try and stay as active as possible (you know, so my tastebuds can have a better life!) by remaining “on the go” whenever I can. I love yoga, tennis and running. But I do run at least twice a week. That counts for something, right? Anyways, I love attending events and getting the “behind the scenes” scoop on restaurants and local businesses in the city.
There are a ton of blogs out there, and I can’t thank you enough for investing your time in mine. The best is yet to come because I said so!
